Shares in Alibaba have raced ahead since its IPO and the Chinese internet giant (which could not get a HK listing away so is US listed is now valued at more than Wal-Mart. Are you temped or compelled to get on board? Personally I think the valuation is insane and am not wild about Chinese stocks in general. But what do you think? The deadline for voting is midnight Sunday and you can vote only once unless you are from Glasgow where it appears multiple voting is par for the course.

It is now quite clear, after my shock revelations today HERE, that Naibu (NBU) is a total Norfolk and is going to 0p. And this is only the latest of a number of Chinese based Norfolks to list on the AIM casino. Good Chinese stocks list in Hong Kong or Shanghai, bad ones on NASDAQ and total stinkers and outright Norfolks on AIM. Well that is my view - hence the advice to dump shares in Camkids (CAMK) and China Chaintek (CTEK) as well as Naibu. What do you think?

Never buy Chinese stocks listed in London is a golden rule of mine. But I broke it last month tipping Hutchison China MediTech (HCM) at an 870p offer. They are now 960p bid after interims yesterday. So why break a golden rule and is there more to come for the shares?
My pal Mark Slater put me onto this one. He does his due diligence and the point about this company is that its largest shareholder is a sort of Chinese Buffett who realises value by spinning out businesses and keeping a majority stake. One fraud and his reputation is toast. It won’t happen.
